Solve Modes
10Puzzles offers two different solving approaches to match different learning styles and training objectives. Instructors can choose the solve mode when creating packages to provide the most effective learning experience for their students.
Full Calculation Mode
Calculate the whole solution and execute the moves of both colors!
In Full Calculation mode, students must think through the entire solution sequence. This mode emphasizes deep calculation and visualization skills and resembles the way students would solve exercises on printed paper.
Key Features:
- Students enter their complete solution sequence
- Promotes thorough position analysis and calculation depth
- Ideal for developing visualization and planning skills
- Encourages students to "see" the entire tactical sequence mentally
Computer Responds Mode (Interactive)
Computer will respond if your move is correct!
In Computer Responds mode, students make moves one at a time, and the computer responds with the opponent's moves when the student's move is correct. This creates an interactive solving experience.
Key Features:
- Move-by-move feedback during puzzle solving
- Computer plays opponent responses to correct moves
- More engaging and interactive solving experience
- Allows students to adjust their approach based on immediate feedback
Choosing the Right Mode
Full Calculation is best for:
- Developing deep calculation skills
- Training visualization abilities
- Advanced tactical training
- Students who need to improve planning depth
Computer Responds is best for:
- Beginning students learning basic tactics
- Maintaining engagement during practice
- Pattern recognition training
- Students who benefit from immediate feedback
